Personal Experience

Donn W. Christensen serves as the pre-litigation attorney at Countrywide Trial Lawyers, APLC. With over 25 years of litigation experience, Donn has devoted his entire legal career to representing plaintiffs in personal injury cases. His passion for helping others and holding insurance companies accountable stems from a deeply personal experience: more than 30 years ago, Donn suffered a serious injury at the hands of police. As a former plaintiff himself, he brings a unique perspective to his practice—ensuring every client receives the care, attention, and advocacy needed to achieve a successful outcome.


Donn has successfully represented clients in a wide range of complex personal injury matters, including wrongful death, catastrophic injuries, traumatic brain injuries, orthopedic injuries, birth injuries, workplace injuries, police misconduct, elder abuse, motor vehicle and trucking collisions, dog attacks, product liability cases, mass tort actions, and claims involving government negligence.


Education

Donn earned his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy of Ethics from the University of Southern California in 1995, graduating Phi Beta Kappa and receiving the Order of the Torch, an honor awarded for exemplary leadership, scholarship, mentorship, service, and contributions to the USC community. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor from the USC Gould School of Law in 1998.


During law school, Donn served as a student-supervisor for the Post-Conviction Justice Project, advocating for wrongfully convicted individuals in both state and federal correctional systems. He also externed with the Civil Fraud Section of the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Los Angeles and worked as a Certified Law Student with the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office.
